Sheep grazing on the Bronze and Iron Age gravefield at Hols gärde (Hol's Field), Vårgårda municipality.
The picturesque site is made up of no less than 135 graves, of which the majority are mounds of varying sizes (a few of these can be seen quite clearly in the background of the picture). A great many of the mounds are situated close together in what can best be described as a checkered pattern.
The site also houses a stone circle, some standing stones and a hard-to-see trident (a three-edged stone formation which might have filled the role of a grave or might have had some ritual purpose).
